Episode 239

Shyness is such a wonderful quality. I appreciate shy people, and connect with them on a deep level.  However, I’ve not always felt this way.

I started drinking at a young age when I realized that alcohol helped me “loosen” up and calm my blushing.

In this episode, you will hear my story of how I fought my shyness for years by drinking, and how I worked hard to hide the hives on my neck by wearing turtlenecks.

The ultimate message of this episode is to accept yourself, no matter if you’re shy or not.

 You’ll also hear:

  • My first memory of being told “don’t be shy”

  • The night I started drinking and why

  • The many wonderful qualities of shyness

  • My experience with using alcohol overtime to relax
